Rapper's Delight

Before the serious work begins, we want to make a fresh tak-off so we present one of the earliest rap songs and definitely the one that had great contribution in popularizing Hip Hop in the United States and later internationally.

Sugar Hill Gang's 'Rapper's Delight' was recorded in 1979 and is still considered one of the best songs ever (listed on The Rolling Stones's The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time and a #2 on the VH1's 100 Greatest Hip Hop Songs)

Although those type of lists seem not to be totally useless when taking into concideration that they are created mostly by musicians and also critics and music industry figures, it feels natural to make the judgment personally as long as the feeling of art is always an individual issue.

Rigth here for you. The Sugar Hill Gang!
